JORO-3D-SCANplus is a further development of conventional true shape measurement. The system uses optical effects, similar to board sorting applications, to distinguish bark from wood. The basis for this is the different reflection behaviour of bark and wood. The recording and evaluation of these effects then provides the bark content and the bark thickness of partially truncated trunks.
The best way is to combine JORO-3D-SCANplus with the JORO-optima3D cutting pattern optimisation to produce your jobs on time with minimum waste and maximum yield.
