Infrared and ultrasound

JORO-sonar is a calibration capable cross measurement system, consisting of an infrared light curtain and an ultrasonic measuring unit. The cross measurement is guaranteed by measuring the height with the infra-red curtain and the width with the ultrasonic measuring unit.

Measurement principle

The measurement data is evaluated by a digital signal processor. The measured data can be sent via a serial, industry standard interface (RS 422/485). Due to the free-running infrared measurement with a measuring frequency of 200 measurements per second, we guarantee exact piece recognition and thus a direct length assignment based on the diameter values.
